One of the key success factors for businesses lies in the development and commercialization of innovative products, services, and technologies. Simultaneously, companies must be capable of effectively managing their running business operations and strategies. This course utilizes the Harvard Case Study Method to explore operational and strategic aspects of innovation management in various contexts. Students gain comprehensive insights into the challenges associated with the commercialization of innovations and technologies. Moreover, students acquire an understanding of decision-making concepts to successfully tackle these challenges. Overall, this course imparts a solid understanding of management methods and tools, serving as a theoretical foundation for resolving case studies. While some of the covered methods may already be familiar to students from previous courses, this course intensifies and focuses on their application. Additionally, new methods are introduced, providing students with a wide range of innovation management techniques. The course is specifically designed for master students seeking to deepen their knowledge in the field of innovation management.
