Im Alten Testament sind Kriege ebenso ein Thema wie die Hoffnung auf Frieden. In der LV werden verschiedene Texte zum Umgang mit Krieg und Frieden gelesen, ausgelegt und diskutiert. Die Textauswahl berücksichtigt Erzählungen aus dem Pentateuch ebenso wie aus den vorderen Propheten und der Schriftprophetie.
