Title |
Linear Models and Regression II |
Description |
* General Considerations about Estimation
(Means and quantiles as optimal predictors, loss and risk functions, maximum likelihood estimation, application to regression problems)
* Logistic Regression and other Generalized Linear Models
(Logistic regression, general asymptotic considerations, methods for multicategorial response, Poisson regression)
* Bootstrap Methods (if time permits)
(Bootstrap for i.i.d. observations, bootstrap for regression models: parametric, residual and wild bootstrap)
* Isotonic Regression
(Examples for isotonic regression, Pool-Adjacent-Violators algorithm, geometrical considerations for isotonic least squares) |
