Seminar:Economics of Pandemics and the Role of Climate |
Description |
The current Covid-19 crisis has and continues to have wide-reaching socio-economic consequences across the globe. In this seminar students will study the economic impact of pandemics. To this end they will investigate a past pandemic event - of either their choosing, or an assigned one - in terms of the role of the economic circumstances and the economic consequences, as well as the role of climate. Evaluation will be based on a group presentation of the research and an individual summary report.
