Title Suicidal ideation and behaviour: Models, assessment, management, and treatment
Description People with a suicide attempt in their life history have an increased risk of a later suicide (attempt). When working with patients with suicidal experiences and behaviour, the long-term and current suicide risk must be assessed in everyday clinical practice. If necessary, further protective measures must be taken. This makes it all the more important to deal with this high-risk group correctly.

In this seminar, we will look at facts and figures as well as the most important models of suicidality. The seminar will also focus on clarifying and documenting suicidal behaviour and therapeutic treatment approaches. The aim is to teach participants the correct way to deal with suicidal patients. The seminar will also provide space for some focus topics (e.g. media influence, special groups).
