Description |
The IC II lecture is based on the "General Chemistry" and IC I courses and deals in detail with the basic concepts of structures of coordination compounds, including coordination geometry, isomerism and symmetry point groups. Their chemical bond, electronic properties and spectroscopy are derived from crystal field theory and ligand field theory.
Can be attended as an elective course by biochemistry students.
