Title |
Inorganic Chemistry IV |
Description |
This course will introduce modern aspects of inorganic chemistry, including the design of ligands for specific applications, the concepts of catalytic applications and beyond, the relevance of metal ligand multiple bonds as well as the specific tailoring of metal properties. The course will embrace contemporary applications of early and late transition metals and s-block metals. It will highlight topical areas of polymerisation chemistry as well as the activation of strong bonds, and will provide avenues for a more sustainable preparation of high-value products.
