Clinical Psychology and Digitalisation: Opportunities and Risks across the Lifespan |
| Description |
Digitalisation and the associated processes, innovations, and tools are indispensable in our society today. There is hardly any age group that does not have contact with these changes. In clinical psychology, many new developments are taking place, which bring opportunities and possibilities, such as new research methods or forms of therapy, as well as risks such as addictive potential.
The seminar aims to provide an overview of the current state of research and application of digital technologies across the lifespan. The focus here is on topics in clinical psychology, such as the relationship with specific disorders, individual symptoms, or research methods.
Requirements: The grade for the seminar is awarded based on the group presentation and the poster. Obtaining the 5 ECTS credits requires regular, active participation, leading one session, as well as presenting and submitting the poster on time.
Literature: Students are mostly responsible for finding, compiling, and integrating the literature for the presentations and posters themselves. |
