Cognitive Development |
Description |
This master lecture is suitable for interested students of all major modules. It provides an in-depth insight into central areas of cognitive development. On the one hand, the basic research on aspects such as language development, intelligence development, memory development, etc. is the focus of the considerations. At the same time, however, more application-oriented research areas such as media consumption/media use, self-regulated learning or children's testimony skills will also be addressed. Case studies in school psychology and educational counseling will be woven into the lecture in the sense of problem-based learning.
Registration for the lecture will be through KSL. A multiple-choice test will be written during the master's exam week. Students with a Developmental Psychology major are required to pass the exam. |
