PA: Archaeological Heritage: Legal basis, organizations, management |
Description |
The colloquium will provide an in-depth examination of the legal and political aspects of the archaeological heritage. Topics are cantonal, federal and international laws and institutions, agreements, conventions and the protection of cultural property. It discusses issues such as dissemination of archaeological findings to the public, polluter pays' principles and privatization of governmental tasks. Parts of the colloquium are practical discussions with key players of archaeological heritage management. |
