In der Forschungswerkstatt werden Bachelorarbeiten, Masterarbeiten, Dissertationen sowie weitere Forschungsprojekte der Teilnehmenden besprochen, aber auch Methoden und aktuelle praktische-theologische Publikationen diskutiert. Thematisch bewegen sich die Arbeiten in den Bereichen Homiletik, Liturgik, Kirchentheorie, Hymnologie, Pastoraltheologie, Raumtheorie/Kirchenästhetik und Digitalisierung.
