Title Excursion 5: Bugs and Rocks: Exploring Insects and Geology at the Quarry (Invertebrates)
Description According to special programme. Registration deadline 1. July in KSL. 3 ECTS-credits can be obtained, 0.5 credits per excursion.

The date of excursion may change (see KSL).

The excursion takes the students on a journey through local quarries, where geology meets entomology.
Discover the diverse rock types while observing the unique insect fauna that inhabit this rugged landscape.
Different biotopes are visited and the specific fauna of these biotopes is introduced and placed in context with the geological environment.
Students will have the opportunity to collect and identify rocks and insects directly in the field.


Prioritization rules:

1. Major has higher priority than Minor
2. The higher the ECTS of the vessel, the higher the priority
3. Master has higher priority than Bachelor
