Title Suitability Diagnostic and Personality
Description Description:
Content: The seminar covers the following topics: a) Theoretical foundations of aptitude assessment, b) various aptitude assessment methods (biography-oriented methods (e.g., interviews), personality-based methods, simulation-oriented methods (e.g., assessment centers), and other methods (e.g., graphology), and c) the evaluation of aptitude assessment. At the same time, these topics will be related to the topic of "personality and work."

On the one hand, the theoretical foundations will be developed using scientific articles and book chapters in the spirit of "shared knowledge," i.e., through readings, discussions, and short presentations by the instructor and students. On the other hand, practical exercises for implementing what has been learned are planned during class time. The use of aptitude assessment tools will be practiced, case studies will be addressed, and a guest speaker will report on the topic from practical experience.

Requirements:
Regular attendance, regular review of literature, and active participation in discussions and practical exercises. Students will work in small groups to meet with an expert. The essay assignment, which will be submitted and graded at the end of the semester, consists of a case study with specific questions that will be developed and practiced using other case studies during the seminar. Students are expected to demonstrate the acquired knowledge, understanding, and applications (100% of the grade).
