Registration through special webshop link is mandatory. Please also register for the lab course through KSL in order to get access to the documents in ILIAS. Late applications will not be considered anymore. This leads to a delay with your studies as you will only be able to attend the lab course 1 year later. Therefore, please make sure you stick to the deadline.
Knowledge, comprehension and application of methods and techniques in the following areas: drug dissolution testing; disintegration of dosage forms; grinding and mixing of powders; granulation; flowability of powders; true and apparent densities of powders, sieve analyses; compression and in-process controls; quality control charts and quality control of tablets; fluidized bed and drum coating processes; dispersion and homogenisation of liquid and semi-solid dosage forms; preparation of gels and ointments; preparation of liquid emulsions and suspensions; rheological measurements of viscous systems; particle size measurements; microscopy and microphotography; surface tension of liquid (tensiometry); water purification; sterilisation; sterility testing; freeze-drying; osmometry; conductometry; liposomes.
Prerequisites: Lecture Galenical Pharmacy I and participation at the exam of Galenics I. Lecture in Galenical Pharmacy II in the same semester or previously. |
