| Title |
Ringvorlesung Brain and Mind |
| Description |
In the "Brain and Mind" lecture series, researchers from the Institute of Psychology as well as external researchers present their research. By participating in the "Brain and Mind" lecture series, students get to know selected topics and current issues in the field of cognitive, social and clinical neuroscience.
The following topics will be addressed in the lecture series: Perception, Learning & Memory, Consciousness, Psychopathology in the Brain, Sleep, Cognitive Functions and Aging, Personality in the Brain, Social Neuroscience, and Neuroscience of Pain.
Students participating in this "Brain and Mind" lecture need to prepare for each lecture by reading a text.
Because different guest speakers are invited, the lectures do not build on each other but are rather independent, to give students insights into different research areas. Participants are awarded 3 ECTS points when they pass a written final exam.
Target group: This lecture series is specially meant for Bachelor students who are enrolled in the Minor Neuroscience.
Registration: Registration takes place via KSL. |
