PA: The Palaeolithic and Mesolithic of Switzerland |
| Description |
The lecture covers the area that is now Switzerland between the retreat of the glaciers around 20,000 BC and the Neolithisation around 5,500 BC. In addition to cultural and settlement history, the lecture will also cover environmental history and the development of fauna. Important finds and discoveries from neighbouring countries and the Old and Middle Palaeolithic periods will also be discussed, as well as forms of artistic expression from this period. |
