Russian II (spring) |
| Description |
Intensive course over two semesters (56 class sessions / 3 ECTS credits per semester) for students with Russian proficiency at A2/B1 level (CEFR). The course, taught in the autumn and spring semesters, focuses on the reading, analysis, and discussion of Russian literature (including works by Pushkin, Lermontov, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Bulgakov, and Dovlatov), as well as on the further development of modern spoken Russian. The program is complemented by a special course on the history of Rus’ (9th–16th centuries). Particular emphasis is placed on advanced grammatical topics such as participles, verbs of motion, aspect, expressions of time, verbal valency, and complex sentence structures. |
