| Title |
Writing a Journal Article… and Getting it Published |
| Description |
22.06.- 24.06.2026
This course is about the processes of writing and getting published. Students will bring an article that they are actually working on for a truly hands-on experience.
The goal of this course is to enable PhD students to get their articles written and sent off to a journal. By the end of the course, students will have an understanding of the publication game, the key players and the scientific journals. They will be able to organize, plan and write the article. Furthermore, they will be able to deal with reviewers and editors.
Registration and deregistration regulation: Registration for PHS courses is open until approximately two weeks before the course begins. Participants may deregister without incurring an administrative fee up to one month before the course starts. After the deregistration period, the organisers will decide whether the course will take place. Registrations after the deregistration deadline are binding, and any deregistration after this deadline will incur an administrative fee of CHF 100.
