| Title |
Quantum mechanics II |
| Description |
This is the second part of a three-semester introduction to Quantum Mechanics. After introducing the general Hilbert space formalism, we discuss at length spherically symmetric systems and the quantum mechanical concepts of angular momentum and spin. As an application we determine the spectrum of the hydrogen atom including the fine- and hyperfine structure. Finally, we also discuss the spectrum of the helium atom, the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox and Bell's inequalities. |
