Psychopathology Taught Online, part I. eLearning lecture |
| Description |
The aim of the two-part lecture consists of conveying the general principles of psychopathology online, i.e. with help of "Psychopathology Taught Online (PTO)", an e-learning tool created by several Swiss Universities in a psychological-psychiatric cooperation. The eLearning course is designed for selfdirected review and in-depth study of psychopathology topics covered in the in-person lectures (e.g., basic knowledge of clinical psychology across the lifespan). It is also intended for students who are not specializing in clinical psychology but need to provide proof of psychopathology courses as part of their studies. The focus is on the differentiated teaching of fundamental knowledge of psychic disorders with an emphasis on phenomenology and on selected topics of general psychopathology. Besides imparting factual knowledge, a special focus is placed on the teaching relational knowledge to enable students to build depth and elaborate knowledge structures. Participation consists in autonomous work with the material provided on the Internet. A preliminary meeting and introduction will take place via Zoom. The Zoom link for the first session can be found on ILIAS. It will also be sent via email shortly before the event. |
