On-site presence:
Group 1: Students whose surname begins with a letter A-K may be present in the lecture room in calendar week 38 (semester week 1), cw 40 (sw 3), etc.
Group 2: Students whose surname begins with a letter L-Z may be present in the lecture room in calendar week 39 (semester week 2), cw 41 (sw 4), etc. Podcasts will be recorded and uploaded to Ilias."

Course type: lecture
Selection criterion: students of the Master's Program Biomedical Engineering are given preference. PhD students, students from other study programs or guest students are admitted to this course if free places are available.

• Molecular biology of the cell, Alberts
• Biochemie, Müller-Esterl
Exercises:
• Exercises will be proposed every week after the lectures on ILIAS and will be available for 2 weeks. Their completion is mandatory but will not be requested for exam registration. Exercises will be monitored by the lecturers and will help for adjusting lectures and follow students’ progresses.

• Academic dishonesty, plagiarism, and any other kind of fraud will lead to the exclusion from the course and/or a fail grade (grade 1) in the assessment.
• Punctuality
• Interactions during lectures are welcome and encouraged
