Course type: lecture and exercises

Selection criterion: students of the Master's Program Biomedical Engineering are given preference. PhD students, students from other study programs or guest students are admitted to this course if free places are available.

A laptop with Matlab installed is required for this course. The toolboxes Signal Processing and Image Processing are required. BME students can download a free Matlab license. Other students can buy a student version on www.mathworks.com.

Prerequisites:
• Required Skill(s): Mathematics on typical Engineering Bachelor Level (e.g. Fourier Transform, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra), Basic Physics

Recommended Skill(s): Simple Image Processing
