Title |
Supplementary seminar/in-depth seminar Self-directed career management: Theories and research methods |
Description |
Due to the increasing dynamics in the world of work, individuals are increasingly responsible for shaping their own careers. Self-directed career management is thus becoming an important factor for success and satisfaction in professional life. In this seminar, central theoretical models and research findings on self-directed career management will be discussed. The seminar participants will also be introduced to research methodology in this area and supported in carrying out a small research project. Specifically, seminar participants formulate questions and hypotheses and test them by means of a questionnaire study. The findings of the research project are presented in a short written paper.
The seminar can be taken as a supplementary as well as an in-depth seminar in AOP.
The seminar combines classroom sessions, online sessions, independent group work outside the seminar and online group discussion sessions with the lecturers on the group work. |
