The lecture treats the following topics:
Short repetition of vector analysis; Fourier-Series; Fourier-Integrals
(Fourier-Transforms) in one dimension, in higher dimensions; applications
of Fourier-Transforms; introduction of the delta-function and of
Green-functions using the example of enforced oszillations; formal
definition of the delta-function; distributions; rules for manipulating
delta-functions; introduction into complex anaysis; residue-theorem. |
