The lecture covers the following topics:
Short repetition of Fourier transform; distribution theory: introduction
of the delta-function and of Green's functions using the example of
forced oscillations, formal definition of distributions, rules for
calculating with distributions, principal-value theorem; complex
analysis: Cauchy-Riemann differential equations, Cauchy's theorem,
identity theorem and analytic continuation, Laurent series, complex
logarithm, residue theorem and applications. |
