Course Type:
• Exercises to be solved by the students and then the solution discussed in class.
• For a few topics a frontal presentation in class is given, followed by exercises.
Prerequisites:
• Skill(s): Mathematics from a Bachelor program
Required Material or Equipment:
• Laptop with Matlab installed.
Textbook(s) and other Reading Material:
• Advanced Engineering Mathematics by Erwin Kreyszig, 10th edition. The book is available through swisscovery (using an email address from the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH).
Distribution of Course Materials:
The information regarding course material will be postet on Ilias (www.ilias.unibe.ch) in the form of course companion. A list of topics and a provisional schedule can also be found in the course companion.
