Title |
Methodenseminar: Methods for exploring and modeling intensive longitudinal data: implementations in R |
Description |
Intensive longitudinal studies involve many repeated measurements (e.g., 50) taken on individuals over time and allow to gain a detailed view on the variables of interest, and produce more ecologically valid statistical models. In this applied seminar, methods for analyzing intensive longitudinal data are discussed, with a specific focus on their implementation in R. The following topics will be presented in detail: data import, processing, visualization and statistical modeling.
Each week, students will be introduced to specific topics of data processing and modelling and they will be asked to develop their own R script accordingly. The script that they develop during the course will provide the basis to complete the seminar final assignment and produce the report. |
