Health Law |
Description |
The lecture on health law, which is held in the fall semester, covers medical law, the medical law that goes beyond this as well as the law of other health care institutions. This includes, among other things, the licensing and activity regulations for medical practices, pharmacies, hospitals, nursing homes, the structures of health and accident insurance, the status of patients and other service recipients as well as the regulation of managed care. It also includes the regulation of treatment relationships (informed consent, liability for information and treatment errors, recording and confidentiality of patient data, compulsory treatment) and insurance relationships (freedom of movement, free choice of service provider).
The content is taught partly in the form of a lecture and partly in discussion. Powerpoint slides as well as various documents and further information will be made available on Ilias.
The lecture takes place every Tuesday, from 12.15 to 2pm in presence. |
