Description |
This advanced-level English course is designed to provide participants from all disciplines with practice in verbal communication in an academic setting. Through debates, discussions, presentations, and leadership role-plays, participants develop the skills to persuade, captivate, and influence their audience. Participants will analyze compelling speeches, scientific and scholarly articles, and will learn how to craft impactful messages, handle difficult questions, and think critically under pressure.
Out-of-class workload: minimum of 3 hours
