Are you starting your exchange semester at the University of Bern? This fun, practical, and interactive course will help you communicate effectively in academic and social settings during your stay.
Through role-plays and discussions, you will develop your English skills to
• participate actively in seminars and group projects,
• communicate with professors and your fellow students,
• adapt to various communication styles and cultural expectations,
• deal with everyday situations on and off campus.
By the end of this course, you will feel more confident about using English in both academic and informal settings at your new university.
Fee: The course is free, but participants must provide confirmation of acceptance into an exchange program via ILIAS.
For this course you don’t need to take the online-placement test.
