Title |
Applied Developmental Psychology: Social-emotional and cognitive tests for children and adolescents |
Description |
Content: This proseminar deals with research on applied topics of developmental psychology in childhood and adolescence. Students learn about and apply theoretical concepts and associated research paradigms. After an introduction to the basics of testing with children and adolescents, students carry out some test procedures themselves. These test procedures are embedded in the theory during the seminar hours and their application is discussed. The focus will be on children in or above preschool level, meaning older than 3 years old.
Requirements: (1) Reading the basic texts in preparation for the sessions. (2) Carry out test procedures with children and adolescents. (3) Regular and active participation, maximum 2 missed sessions. (4) Passing the learning tests (graded).
Literature: The literature will be announced in the introductory session.
