Lab course clinical neuropsychology |
Description |
In this laboratory course, students are introduced to basic concepts and have the opportunity to experience and apply neuropsychological diagnostic and test procedures at first hand. Neuropsychological testing procedures to assess the performance of cognitive functions such as memory, attention and executive functions are covered. Both paper and pencil tasks are presented, as well as computer tasks.
Through practical exercises, participants learn to combine theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge and to interpret the results of standardized tests in the context of current cognitive neuroscience. |
