Seminar mini: Philosophy and the Anthropocene: Philosophy in ‘Times of Crisis’ (th, wp, pr, pp) |
| Description |
Climate change is increasingly understood as one aspect of a larger story involving disruptive human interferences in fundamental, life support planetary processes–what can be characterized as the Anthropocene. This seminar aims to address various ways in which philosophy can help navigating the multiple dimensions of this new regime of drastic, human-induced global environmental changes, in particular when it comes to knowledge production. The format is highly interactive, the participants discuss papers and exchange with a multidisciplinary selection of speakers. |
