Contents:
This course introduces the students to advanced mathematical methods in economics. Two main topics are covered: difference equations and dynamic programming. Both topics are discussed in the deterministic as well as in the stochastic setting. The course includes exercise sessions, in which the tools learnt are applied to economic models.
