Im Forschungspraktikum wird ein wissenschaftlicher Arbeitsprozess durchgespielt. Dieser führt vom individuellen Interesse an einem Thema, über die Formulierung einer fachspezifischen Problemstellung bis hin zum Entwurf eines Arbeitskonzepts. Dabei werden verschiedene Methoden der Allgemeinen und Historischen Erziehungswissenschaft kennengelernt und anhand von Gegenständen und Textmaterial erprobt. In der Veranstaltung finden dabei die individuelle als auch die soziale Dimension eines Forschungsprozesses Beachtung.
Das Forschungspraktikum wird jedes Semester als eigenständige Veranstaltung angeboten. Die inhaltliche Ausrichtung variiert hinsichtlich Schwerpunkte und Dozentin bzw. Dozent.
