| Description |
This course is designed for university staff working in administrative roles who wish to improve their English communication skills for professional purposes. The course focuses on typical situations encountered in a university environment, including responding to enquiries, explaining procedures, supporting international researchers and staff, participating in meetings, and handling telephone conversations. The course is highly practical and interactive, with a strong emphasis on spoken communication. Participants will develop confidence and fluency through role plays, pair work, and other communicative activities based on authentic workplace scenarios. Particular attention will be paid to administrative, HR, and finance-related vocabulary relevant to the university context. Homework is optional and intended to support individual learning goals.
Workload: 9 × 60-minute sessions and optional homework
No formal assessment.
