Through this course, participants get an overview of the foundations of Public Health, definitions, key concepts, and its different disciplines. Participants also get a comprehensive understanding of the four themes: Core Methods, Population Health and its determinants, Health Systems and Policy, as well as Health Promotion and Prevention.
Registration and deregistration regulation: Registration for PHS courses is open until approximately two weeks before the course begins. Participants may deregister without incurring an administrative fee up to one month before the course starts. After the deregistration period, the organisers will decide whether the course will take place. Registrations after the deregistration deadline are binding, and any deregistration after this deadline will incur an administrative fee of CHF 100.
