This Module course will introduce participants to basic principles of patient and public involvement in health research, discuss important aspects of participatory research and provide insights into selecting suitable approaches for different study designs and topics.

This course will be a mixture of input lectures from disciplines that apply participatory approaches in health research and exercises individually and in small groups.
The course will present the foundations of community-based participatory health research, the ladder of participation, participatory health research methods, public and patient involvement strategies, as well as community engagement tools.

Cancellation regulation: After the closing date for registrations, the organisers will decide whether the course can take place. The decision is based on the number of registrations. A Processing fee of CHF 100 will be applied for cancellation after the registration deadline.
