Description
In this course, the content is divided into two main parts. In the first half, students present their ongoing publication projects, focusing on their statistical analysis plans and addressing statistical issues. These are discussed and resolved collaboratively with experienced statisticians, Dr. Stefan Lerch and Dr. Silvano Sele. The second half of the course features presentations on topics of general relevance to early-career researchers, delivered by advanced doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers and clinician scientists.
Course Structure
- Format A: PhD students present their current paper projects. This includes a brief presentation of the research question, followed by a joint review of the analysis strategy and its implementation in the script, and a discussion of individual problems or questions.
- Format B: A postdoctoral researcher (or an advanced PhD student) provides an input on a generally relevant topic, followed by a discussion.
