Kann es eine Philosophie virtueller Realität geben? David Chalmers hat kürzlich eine solche artikuliert. Dabei bleiben jedoch viele Fragen offen. Unter anderem bleibt das Verhältnis des klassischen philosophischen Begriffs «virtuell» als einer Modalität von Möglichkeit und dem Label «virtuelle Realität» als Bezeichnung für bestimmte digitale Technologien aus dem Silicon Valley ungeklärt. Der Kurs wird deswegen auch historische und kulturwissenschaftliche Texte beinhalten. |
